Singer-songwriter Regina Spektor was known throughout the music industry for her boundless creative energy, both on stage and in the studio. Spektor's career began with music featured mostly in comedies like "Dan in Real Life" (2007) and "In Bruges" (2008) with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson. In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Spektor's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the America Ferrera adaptation sequel "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" (2008), the Joseph Gordon-Levitt romantic comedy "(500) Days of Summer" (2009) and the dramatic adaptation "My Sister's Keeper" (2009) with Cameron Diaz. Spektor's music was also featured in the comedic fantasy "Beastly" (2011) with Vanessa Hudgens and "Friends With Kids" (2012) with Jennifer Westfeldt. In addition to her music, Spektor also appeared on-screen in "Regina Spektor: Live in London" (2010). Spektor most recently appeared on the documentary "Hava Nagila (The Movie)" (2013) with Harry Belafonte.
