This Canadian supervising sound editor of feature films worked on three films with director Norman Jewison: "Moonstruck" (1987), "In Country" (1989), and "Other People's Money" (1991). Lackie collaborated with her companion and fellow sound editor Michael O'Farrell on most of her film assignments. Her other credits include "From the Hip", "The Big Town" (both 1987), and "Physical Evidence" (1988).
