A truly great lady
I have been a fan since I was quite young, when I first saw her in "Little Women" i have followed her life with great interest, not only for her films that she did but also for her personal life. I have always felt that she was a very kind person to both people that she worked with and after much of her career had faded kind to people that she came in cotact with. i really thoroughly enjoyed seeing her in films nad would have loved to have seen her in real life. May she always be remembered.
A beautiful, excellent actress
Janet Leigh's charisma is very apparent on the screen, her eyes capture your attention and she seems to have a natural and wistful way of displaying herself on the screen. She can make a gritty, dark horror movie as well as a lighthearted, simple comedy. Her beauty is so sublime and breathtaking as well with her sultry almond eyes, chiseled facial features, and plump rosy lips.
A BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED WOMAN
- Barbara Leif
Janet Leigh became my favorite actress after first seeing her in her very first film "Romance of Rosey Ridge." She did every kind of film at MGM, RKO, Paramount, Universal in the 1950's and 1960's.She did television and radio and performed at the Academy Awards. I was in the audience, at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium when she was up for Best Supporting Actress for "Psycho." I had her autograph "There Really Was a Hollywood" to me at Henchey's Department Store in Santa Monica and took some photos of her there. I had taken some photos of her in the 1950's in Santa Monica when she drove in a car for Santa Monica City College (which I was attending at the time) I asked her to autograph a playbill to me when she performed with her first co-star Van Johnson at the Canon Theater in Beverly Hills in the two person play, "Love Letters." I was a lifelong admirer of her and I still am. I'm so happy thet TCM has a whole day of her fils and honoring her.
An intelligent, fun actress to watch.
I enjoy Janet Leigh's movies. She shows intelligence wit sparkle and wit.
