Felix Basch was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Basch found his beginnings in film with roles in "Desperate Journey" (1942), "Enemy Agents Meet Ellery Queen" (1942) and the drama "Hitler - Dead or Alive" (1942) with Ward Bond. Basch made film his next project, appearing in "Pacific Rendezvous" (1942), the biopic "Mission to Moscow" (1943) with Walter Huston and the Dennis Morgan adaptation "The Desert Song" (1943). He also appeared in "The Falcon in Danger" (1943) with Tom Conway. Later in his career, Basch acted in "Women in Bondage" (1944).

Basch started his career on stage in 1904, making his film debut in 1913 and debuting as director in 1915. With his wife Grete Freund, they founded the ‘Basch Freund Film, Berlin’ company and worked with many of the major stars of the era. In 1933, Felix and his wife went to America, returning to Paris shortly thereafter. At the outbreak of WWII, they moved to New York where Felix opened a restaurant.
