Derek Leckenby made his mark in the world of entertainment when he acted in the musical comedy "Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter" (1968) with Peter Noone. In 1962, he was a member of the British pop band Herman's Hermits. In 1966, he appeared as himself in the musical comedy "Hold On!." In 1968, he appeared as himself in the musical comedy "Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter."
