BIOGRAPHY

Douglas Leavitt was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Leavitt began his career with a role in the Fred Astaire musical "You Were Never Lovelier" (1942). Leavitt made film his next project, appearing in "Power of the Press" (1943) and the Ann Miller comedy "Reveille With Beverly" (1943). Later in his career, Leavitt acted in the comedy "Two Señoritas From Chicago" (1943) with Joan Davis.
