As a well-versed Canadian entertainer, Rosina Lawrence had a diverse career in the entertainment industry. Lawrence found her beginnings in film with roles in the comedy "Your Uncle Dudley" (1935) with Edward Everett Horton and "Charlie Chan's Secret" (1936) with Warner Oland. Film became Lawrence's next endeavor, appearing in "General Spanky" (1936), "Mr. Cinderella" (1936) and "Nobody's Baby" (1937). She also appeared in the Patsy Kelly musical comedy "Pick a Star" (1937). Toward the end of her career, Lawrence acted in the Stan Laurel comedy "Way Out West" (1937). Lawrence had a total of three children and was married to John C. McCabe. Rosina Lawrence passed away in June 1997 at the age of 85.
