BIOGRAPHY

Perc Launders was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Launders's career beginnings included film roles in the Dorothy Lamour musical "And the Angels Sing" (1944), the Alan Ladd thriller "The Blue Dahlia" (1946) and the crime picture "The Killers" (1946) with Burt Lancaster. Launders then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the drama "Born to Kill" (1947) with Claire Trevor, "Desperate" (1947) and the Dennis O'Keefe drama "Abandoned" (1949). He also appeared in the Ronald Reagan comedy "Bedtime For Bonzo" (1951). Later in his career, Launders acted in "The Enforcer" (1951). Launders passed away in October 1952 at the age of 48.
