Carole was my aunt and she was one of Hollywood's greatest...a true patriot who did so much for her country and an amazing talent who could sing, act, and write! I love talking with my aunt's fan so please contact me thru our family web site CaroleLandisOfficial.com

............ Known chiefly for her striking good looks, she, Carole Landis, was never really given the oportunity to fully showcase her entire range of talent, which I believe, could of proved to be considerable. ... She was a product of her times, the 1930's and 1940's, a time when, for the most part, pretty girls were there, to be see, and not really heard. ... Non-The-Less, for a girl with such a tramatic family background (Poverty & Sexual Abuse) and a somewhat limited education (9th. or Tenth. Grade), actually did quite well for herself, and left behind a truly inspiring Hollywood legacy and legend. ............ It is widely believed, and not without considerable proven documentation, that she was the most widely traveled and dedicated of any of the Hollywood entertainers from the World War II period. ... An act which caused her to permanetly damage her health, and general well being. ... Norm

Carole Landis is not only one of the most beautiful actresses of all time; she is also one of the most talented. She also was one of the nicest stars; she was loved by all her costars. She also spent lots of time with the troops, she was one of movies brightest stars whose life ended so young and tragic, and her true fans will never forget her. I’m Carole’s biggest fan and I will make sure that no one forgets one of Hollywood’s best and most beautiful stars.

Carole Landis was one of the most beautiful and talented actresses Hollywood has ever seen. Not only was she a great star but she was a kind human being. Did you know that Carole spent more time visiting troops during World War 2 than any other Hollywood star? Sadly her life ended tragically in 1948 when she committed suicide. I am Carole's biggest fan and I have created the web site Carole Landis Online. The site has a biography, filmography, trivia, quotes, autographs, magazine covers, and more than 260 rare photos! I rate Carole Landis a 9, I feel she was a good actress but never given a change to excel her talent. I mostly admire her for all the time not just going out to entertain our troops during WWII but for putting herself along with K France, M Raye & M Mayfair in the middle of attacks just to help our soldiers. I haven't heard others helping out in the hospital and not afraid to get dirty. Even Bob Hope (not to take anything away from him)go into active battlefield as these ladies did.

Carole Landis despite never being a top star in Hollywood remains fondly remembered today whilst many top stars of her time are forgotten. Carole had avery thing going, good looks, a lovely speaking and singing voice and a splendid personality. She made two films in England which she knew well having visited it during WW2 entertaining the armed forces throughout the war zones. If Rex Harrison was the cause of her death, it's a pity she didn't realise he was doing her a favour. None of his many wives seemed to haveled a happy life.

CAROLE LANDIS NEVER ACHIEVED MAJOR STARDOM BECAUSE OF THE POLITICAL AND PERSONAL CONFLICTS BETWEEN CL AND STUDIO HEAD DARRYL F ZANUCK...SHE IS A SAD REMINDER OF THE WAY THE STUDIO SYSTEM WORKED...THERE WERE MANY IMPORTANT ROLES AT 20TH CENTURY FOX SHE COULD AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN...

One of the loveliest actresses of her time, Carole Landis had her best roles in 'One Million BC', 'I Wake Up Screaming' and 'A Scandal In Paris'. She had potential for much more, but mysteriously chances for big things never came to her. She was considered a wonderful person by her many friends.

Carole Landis in my estimation was one of the great Pin Up Gals and was given low budget films to make her appearances in. Her great film was, " I Wake Up Screaming" with Laird Cregar. Carole Landis will always be remembered as a loving and very caring person who loved Hollywood.
