Died: February 12, 1924 Los Angeles, CA
Married to actress Mabel Van Buren, Joy was well known in stock companies. He entered films working with Thanhouser, and Kinemacolor in the early 1910s, later signing with Paramount often playing villains. On Broadway he appeared in three productions, ‘In the Bishop’s Carriage,’ ‘The Dawn of a Tomorrow’ and ‘The Question.’ Joy died from intestinal flu.
