A Letter for Evie

I've always been a fan of the lovely Marsha Hunt. Whether playing a plain sister in "Pride and Prejudice" to the lead in "The Affairs of Martha", "Raw Deal" and others, she's a real pro. I watched "A Letter for Evie" this week. This little confection will never appear on anyone's best of list but for an hour and a half I was transported back to a simpler time. I imagined watching this film in a darkened 1946 theater, understanding completely why Hume Cronyn's Johnny/Edgar fell in Love with Marsha/Evie. What a treat!

Hi, I've been a huge fan of TCM and classics for quite some time. I became an even bigger fan of Marsha Hunt when I first saw her in movies about 20 years ago. When I first saw her, I became immediately became enamoured with her. She's lovely, personable, and just comes accross as a beautiful person not only outside, but inside. When I read her short biography, it just confirmed my feelings about her. If it were possible to meet her, I would be so happy and proud. From one of your biggest fans, Marsha. Keep up the good work you do. With Admiration, Paul Caron

I've just finished viewing "Affairs of Martha" and I am now an official fan of Marsha Hunt. She is wonderful to watch and a delight to the eyes. I hope she reads this because she deserves a great deal more recognition for her work.
