Died: May 1, 1955 Los Angeles, CA
A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, he began his career on the London stage in Shakespearean plays and played in British films during the 1930s. Knaggs moved to the U.S. in 1923 and graduated from Porter School in 1924. He played mostly minor roles throughout his career, never achieving star billing or leading man status. He also appeared in a number of TV shows including the popular “Topper” series.
