Foghorn Leghorn is a large, belligerent, male adult Warner Brothers Cartoon rooster with a strong Southern accent and full of mischief (and hell-bent on destruction). He first appeared in a '46 Henery Hawk cartoon, called Walky Talky Hawky, directed by Robert McKimson, & with the characters ( Including Foghorn)voiced by Mel Blanc. Foghorn Leghorn's main rival was The Barnyard Dawg (aka George P. Dog), his frequent co-star, engaging in a series of violent pranks (with Foghorn being the main aggressor, who was frequently on the losing end of the often stylishly executed animated pratfalls).
