On June 1 Turner Classic Movies (TCM), in association with Piedmont Park
Conservancy, will head back to Atlanta's Piedmont Park for its seventh annual
Screen on the Green classic film festival. A fun way to spend a summer evening
picnicking in the park with friends or family, this year's Screen on the Green
festival will present five much-loved classic films each Thursday evening in June
on a 45-by-24-foot movie screen.
The 2006 Screen on the Green classic film festival will kick off with the Academy
Award®- nominated, wildly popular comedy A Hard Day's Night (1964).
Featuring The Beatles in their first movie, A Hard Day's Night follows 'a
day in the life' of The Beatles right at the point the band's popularity has begun
to skyrocket.
