"I Won't Stay!" from The Great Lie
1941. Bette Davis as Maggie Patterson Van Allen catches Mary Astor as Sandra Kovak sneak food she shouldn't have late at night in the kitchen, then makes her a meal. Later, they play cards and Sandra is frustrated, to the point she insults Maggie and then tries to get out of the house during a wind storm, to which Maggie calms her down.
