To Catch A Thief (1955) -- (Movie Clip) Something More Formal
One could argue that Cary Grant himself becomes the "Maguffin," as he evades French police in an extensive chase along the Cote d'Azur, ending in Alfred Hitchcock's cameo in To Catch A Thief, 1955.>

To Catch A Thief (1955) -- (Movie Clip) Very Strong Grip
Picnicking in what would become her neighborhood as a princess, Grace Kelly (as "Francie") taunts Cary Grant (whom she rightly accuses of being John "The Cat" Robie) in a provocative scene from Alfred Hitchcock's To Catch A Thief. 1955.>

To Catch A Thief (1955) -- (Movie Clip) Irregular Verbs
Francie (Grace Kelly) swims up with an old joke about "conjugating," as shapely Danielle (Brigitte Auber) offers various suggestions to Robie (Cary Grant) in the surf at Cannes in Hitchcock's To Catch A Thief, 1955.>

To Catch A Thief (1955) -- (Movie Clip) Ever Been Married?
Alfred Hitchcock was likely more interested in the color than the story, as he arranges for Robie (Cary Grant) to meet Hughson (John Williams) in the flower market in Nice, in To Catch A Thief, 1955.>

"Past Catches Up" from Anna Lucasta
1958. Sammy Davis Jr. as Danny Johnson surprises a newly married Eartha Kitt as Anna Lucasta, who cannot believe she has fallen in love with a farmer for real, and who tries to get her to come back to him, but she refuses, even as he tells her the truth about her. Finally, Danny decides to go and leave her be when Rex Ingram as Joe Lucasta comes and recognizes Danny, then tells Anna that he fixed it so her new husband does not get the new job he came up for, and that all she deserves is unhappiness, even on her wedding day. Danny then takes the distraught Anna away, and Joe destroys her wedding cake.

"Chantez La Bas" from St. Louis Blues
1958. Eartha Kitt as Gogo Germaine finishes a set and sits with her boss and boyfriend, Cab Calloway as Blade, when she hears music from outside. Handy, Teddy Buckner as Musician, Barney Bigard as Musician, George "Red" Callendar as Musician, and Lee Young as Musician come up and Gogo greets them and tells them to perform a set in low bass.
